Michael Abelson, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Michael Abelson is Santa Clarita's Board Certified Periodontal and Implant specialist! His private practice in Valencia has earned the reputation of providing optimal patient service. After completing a surgical residency at Baylor University in Dallas Texas in 1991, Dr. Abelson and his wife, Sheri, returned to California to start a family and a practice. Having lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for ten years with their three children, the Abelsons are active community members, being involved in local and religious charities.

Dr. Abelson's passion is cosmetic gum surgery. He performs smile lifts to help patients obtain dramatic esthetic results. He also focuses on gum grafting using new regenerative materials which eliminates the need for the roof of the mouth!

His drive to set the highest clinical standards parallels his reputation for being a caring practitioner. He is active in professional dental organizations, study clubs, and is affiliated with the UCLA School of Dentistry. He lectures to local groups and is happy to share his expertise with patients and colleagues.
